This Cookie Policy explains how we ("We", "Us", or "Our") use cookies and similar technologies when you use the Thryve website and quiz funnel (the "Service"), what tracking technologies are, why we use them, and how you can control their use.

1. What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file placed onto your device (e.g., computer, smartphone, or other electronic device) when you visit our website to store a range of information—for example, your browser type, device type, or actions you've taken within our funnel.

Cookies set by us are called first-party cookies. We also use third-party cookies, which are cookies from a domain different from the domain of our website, primarily for our advertising, marketing, and analytical efforts.

Session cookies expire each time you close your browser and do not remain on your device afterward. These cookies allow our website to link your actions during a particular browser session to ensure the quiz funnel functions correctly.

Persistent cookies remain on your device for a period of time and will expire on a set expiration date, or when you delete them manually from your cache. These cookies are stored on your device between browser sessions and allow your preferences and actions to be remembered.

2. Other Tracking Technologies We Use

In addition to standard cookies, we utilize the following technologies to track user behavior, measure ad performance, and operate our business:

Meta Pixel

We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to collect data about your actions on our Service. This data may include which pages you visit, the time you spend on each page, the quiz answers you submit, and the purchases you make. We use this data to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to serve personalized ads to you on Meta platforms. The information collected is transmitted to Meta. Your browser establishes a direct connection with their servers as soon as you agree to tracking. You can opt-out of Facebook's interest-based ads by following these instructions from Facebook.

Web Beacons (Pixels & Tags)

A web beacon is a small, transparent image (also known as a "pixel tag" or "clear GIF") embedded into a website or an email. When we send you your quiz results or subscription updates via email, we use web beacons to recognize when an email was opened, from what IP address, and from what device. We use this information to improve our email communication and measure engagement.

HTML5 Local Storage

HTML5 contains functionality that allows information to be stored locally within your browser's data files. It operates similarly to cookies but can hold greater amounts of information and does not rely on an exchange of data with the website's server. We use this to temporarily save your quiz progress.

Device Fingerprinting

This technique involves combining a set of standard information elements sent by your browser (e.g., device configuration, operating system, installed fonts, HTTP header info) to help uniquely identify a device. We use this primarily to prevent fraud and abuse of our 7-day trial system.

3. How Can You Manage Your Cookies and Tracking?

Browser and Device Settings

Most web browsers allow you to refuse to accept cookies and to delete them. The methods for doing so vary from browser to browser. You can obtain up-to-date information about blocking and deleting cookies via the official support pages for your browser:

Please note that blocking all cookies will have a negative impact upon the usability of our Service. If you block strictly necessary cookies, you may not be able to complete the quiz or process your trial payment.

To opt out of data usage by Google Analytics, you can follow Google's instructions here.

Opt-Out of Interest-Based Advertising

The third-party advertisers and ad networks we work with (like Meta) may be members of self-regulatory programs for online behavioral advertising. To opt-out of interest-based advertising from participating companies, visit the following links:

4. Changes to This Policy

We may change this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will inform you by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
